Buying Refurbished Keeps Products Out Of Landfills And Is Increasing Under COVID

You may have noticed that some items have been hard to come by during the pandemic. A company called goTRG is in the business of working with top retailers to manage the returns of broken or used goods like electronics to refurbish them for resale.

The company has been seeing massive growth and demand for refurbished products in the months since COVID-19 hit the United States, says Sender Shamiss, CEO of goTRG.

If you’ve ever purchased a refurbished product you know that it’s usually “like-new” and sold at a lower price. The folks at goTRG, headquartered in Miami, work with six of the Top 10 retailers, including Walmart and Best Buy. They’re the only certified refurbisher for Lenovo, Apple and LG, and resell items across more than 20 online marketplaces including Amazon and eBay.
